Things to Prepare Before Installing Feit Electric Floodlight Security Camera
You’ll need these things before you start:
A smart Android or iOS device with at least a minimum of iOS 9.3 or Android 4.4. To set up and install your Feit Smart Flood Light Camera, you’ll need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Download the Feit Electric App
Look for the Feit Electric app in the App Store or Google Play Store. Download the Feit Electric app for your smartphone or tablet and install it. Use the Feit Electric app to set up the lighting camera. Please make sure that the floodlight camera is set to pair mode. To join, the BLUE light must be blinking quickly.
If the Reset Button isn’t blinking, press and hold it until you hear a tone. To finish setting up:
- Use the Feit Electric app.
- Click the plus or “+” sign and choose “Flood Light Camera.”
- Click “Confirm.” You will be asked to enter your password and Wi-Fi network.
Connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

Feit Electric App Setup
Download the Feit Electric App on your mobile or tablet. Log in with your email ID if you are an existing customer. Tap Register to create a new account if you are a new user, and follow the directions in the app.
It would be best to have your phone near the Smart Flood Light Camera to connect to Wi-Fi using the QR Code method. Here’s a video showing you the steps. Use the QR code to connect your camera.
It could take two to three minutes before the camera reads the QR code properly. When it succeeds, you’ll be able to hear a tone. Hit “I heard the beep” to initiate the start pairing. If you are having an issue to connect your camera via QR code Mode. On the other hand, you can also connect your Feit electric floodlight security camera using EZ Mode instead of QR code mode. In the top right corner select EZ Mode as the installation method.
Tap to confirm if the indicator light is blinking. If it is not blinking, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds or until you hear an audible tone. Next, press “Confirm.” Enter your Wi-Fi network’s password. Note: Ensure a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is linked to your phone. A 5 GHz Wi-Fi network is incompatible with the Smart Flood Light Camera.
At this step, the Smart Flood Light Camera will start to connect. When the Smart Light Camera connects, the indicator light should become a solid blue glow. Verify that you typed your WiFi password correctly if you have trouble joining. If the connection drops once again, go back and do the previous step again or see help for additional advice.
Tap the pen icon and type a new name into the field to rename your Smart Flood Light Camera. Once saved, you’re done.
Tap and hold the Smart Flood Light Camera icon to access the control panel. From there, you may record and view live video, take screenshots, interact with visitors, activate the siren, dial 911, and see previously recorded footage.
